It is extremely important to be aware that Enterprise 21 is neither a solicitor nor an accountancy practice. We are singly and solely associated to the Franchise sector.

Our experience comes from very many years of involvement in both small businesses, covering a wide range of products and services, and the dynamic franchise sectors.

We know business. We know Franchising, We know people. We understand motivation, human psychology, dreams, goals and aspirations. We understand that success and personal satisfaction are much more than legal terms or profit and loss statements. What we know, and what we have experienced in business, can only be learned over a substantial number of years, and only then with an open and comprehending mind.

Do not be misled into building a legal enterprise or a cumbersome and unprofitable entity dictated by constraints and negativity. Winners will win, Optimists will overcome obstacles and negativity. Business should be fun and enjoyable as well as worthwhile and profitable for everyone; the owner, the Franchisee and the consumer.

A businesses sole purpose is to make money (even Not-for-Profit enterprises have to break-even). It does this by satisfying an existing ‘need’ in society or creating a ‘need’. A need can cover essential items and services to luxury items and services that are ‘needed’ to satisfy the ego.

Enterprise 21 will need to know your dreams. Your goals, your desires – the ultimate franchise system will then be a reflection of your character and your ethics.

Fees and Charges

It is extremely difficult to get sound and practical advice on whether you should franchise, what the alternatives may be, what is involved in taking this expansion route and what needs to be attended to initially before the franchise paperwork is commenced.

Enterprise 21 have made this easy with a four stage consultancy fee structure to enable you to budget and chose the level of advice and assistance you want.

#1 INITIAL CONCEPT APPRAISAL

A Basic Feasibility Overview:

  • Primarily; is your business franchisable? Does it incorporate all the essential components?
  • Area’s of Attention; what needs to be done to bring it up to a starting standard, appearance, systems, USP?
  • The Branding Essentials; design, colours, name, logo, uniforms, etc.
  • Legal Issues; IP security, legal entities, company structures, etc.

  • A brief report on the above issues is provided after an initial consultation.

    $2,200 + any travel and accommodation that may be required.

    #2 FRANCHISE PROFILE

    Giving the project teeth:

  • We discuss the options for various income streams to the franchisor including franchise fee, service charges, royalties, bulk purchase discounts, personalised products, etc...
  • Viability for the Franchisee, is there enough meat in the business, multi-franchise ownership, master franchises, overseas options.
  • Franchisee profile, who we want and why, initial franchisees and future franchisees.
  • Supply and suppliers, distribution, flexibility versus continuity.
  • Service, how much, how often, reason and content.
  • Support (how much and how often, what is needed and why.)
  • Training (subjects, duration, presenters.)
  • Territories (how large, what criteria to use, maps.
  • Franchise package contents including stationery, uniforms, initial marketing, signage, fixtures, fittings, equipment and more.
  • Premises, how large, location, costs, fit-out, who holds the lease (why; the options) premises selection and sign-off.
  • Business system specific concerns and opportunities.
  • Operations manual content and construction issues.

  • A Franchise profile document is presented within one week of interview.
    $11,000 + travel and accommodation for two if required.

    #3 DOCUMENTATION PACKAGE

    Putting it all together:

    The document package contains:

  • The Franchise Agreement. Designed as a business document that reflects the operation of the enterprise and is then “legalised” by an Enterprise 21 solicitor.
  • The Disclosure Document. The document that discloses the legal issues, the financial issues, the history and experiences of the owners and directors and key staff, previous Franchisees and much more which is scrutinised and approved by an Enterprise 21 solicitor.
  • The Franchise Code of Conduct, the rule book of franchising
  • Business “At a Glance”; a brief teaser document for initial enquirers.
  • Full business overview for serious interested parties.
  • Training schedule template.
  • Advice and guidance throughout this process which has a substantial value and may well either save or make many multiples of the full construction process, initial income from sales and ongoing income streams.

  • $15,400 + travel and accommodation for two if required.

    #4 FRANCHISE SALES AND MARKETING

    Getting it all to market:

    This section cannot be utilised without the preceding 3 stages having been completed by Enterprise 21. Our effectiveness as Franchisee Recruitment Specialists is greatly enhanced if we are totally involved in the construction of the franchise system.

    This package contains every piece of documentation that is necessary in locating and selecting Franchisees. This parcel will enable you to take the business opportunity to the market and lead prospective Franchisees through the interview and selection process.

    The package contains;

  • Far too many documents to list here. There are approximately 30 to 40 individual items that cover multiple interviews, telephone handling, application forms, confidentiality agreements, psychology appraisals, power-point presentations (if required), hand-out material, business registration and cessation forms.
  • Training if required on how to maximise the techniques of utilising these documents.

  • $11,000 + travel and accommodation if required.

    A TOTAL PACKAGE COST of only $39,600 with a GST component of $3,600 ($36,000). This would have to be the most realistic and value package available in Australia today.

    ADDITIONAL SERVICE

    Enterprise 21 have been at the forefront in Australia for many years as a dedicated Franchisee Source and Selection Consultancy; we advertise, interview, scrutinise, psychologise, run information seminars and ultimately present to the Franchisor prospective Franchisees for their final approval.

    Our fee for this service is dependant upon a number of factors including the total franchise price, market penetration potential, opposition, initial advertising budget and other factors. This will be clear when the other consultancy components have been commenced.
